Once again I find myself at the airport, in socks, at 6am trying to defend my moisturizing cream from the Homeland Security wombats. It's rare to feel so energized in this setting. I guess that's what happens after a wonderful weekend, drinks included. First, it was the opening of David Bates' show in Knoxville and then fox hunting in Alabama (a hunt I consider to be the best in the world) and then several days in NOLA with some of my favorite people on the planet. We went to galleries everywhere and studios in New Oreleans and Knoxville. Art always seems to add to the flavor of everything. I am planning on going to Amsterdam this coming weekend for the museum night. It is a weekend equivalent to our Halloween, except they keep the museums open till 3am and have the symphony play in the gallerys. Let's just hope nobody tries to lick the Velasquez paintings. Jewelry is going very well, for the first time a concrete collection that is a collection first, individual pieces later. Boarding........
